This enables the features of both products to enhance and complement each other into a genuine and complete payroll and human resource management solution. Many of the features of SDMS V HRPersonnel - such as: multi-posting supporting job sharing and part time contracts; pay scales and pay points with discretionary points, bars, Automatic Increment Administration, pension records and time and attendance can be implemented in preparing and managing data for payroll processing.

Payroll Integration Module

The Payroll Integration Module provides a set of data exports from SDMS V HRPersonnel for Windows and Payroll to ensure that single data entry is achieved and a unified data set is maintained at all times. In accordance with the best HR practice is assumes that new for staff personnle "drives" payrol through appropriate authorisation for new starters,promotions and pay rises. It provides:

The Payroll Integration Module ensures that the payroll and personnel functions operate on a common core set of data. For example, the personnel data export from SDMS V HRPersonnel for Windows to Earnie Payroll provides payroll with new starter information such as employee reference, name, address, date of birth, gender, employment start date, etc., job details, department, initial pay details, benefits and deductions.

Where time and attendance, overtime etc. are managed with SDMS V HRPersonnel for Windows, then the variable data export provides payroll with the changes required resulting from time and attendance, overtime, bonuses, and commissions.

Future Development

Currently integration is achieved by CSV file transer. This will in the course of 2007 be replaced by XML integration.
