QuickAddress Rapid™ will return a full address from just the postcode and premise number, saving up to 80% on data entry, as fewer keystrokes are required. QuickAddress Rapid™ accesses the 1.7 million UK postcodes held on the Royal Mail’s Postcode Address File (PAF). QuickAddress Rapid™ ensures that the address captured is accurate, consistent and correctly spelt to ensure that mail is delivered first time, every time. Address data will be accurately saved in existing applications, such as SDMS, to preserve database integrity and to facilitate valid analysis. It helps to support high standards of Customer Service and significantly enhances the professional image of any organisation.
Every year the Royal Mail re codes significant areas of the UK, and QuickAddress Rapid™ will generate the correct address from either the new or old postcode, guaranteeing data accuracy.
About 1 in 20 postcodes contains numbered flats within a premise address, and unless the operator was warned, the flat number could be added to the street name resulting in an inaccurate and undeliverable address. QuickAddress Rapid™ will flash a warning to indicate that they should check with the Customer if the premise number refers to flats or buildings within a courtyard.
If a postcode character is unreadable, users can enter a wildcard element to return the nearest matches in a pick-list. If recording addresses from hand-written coupons, this is an invaluable feature that will turn illegible text into useful data.
QuickAddress Rapid™ will save the last 20 postcode searches and these can be recalled if necessary.
QuickAddress Rapid™ can work within any application. It can be configured to automatically detect which application it has been called from and use the address layout appropriate to that application.
