SDMS LTD Joins the Citrix® ISV Partner Programme and Launches SDMS Synopsis – Server-Based Computing Editions of SDMS software for Training, Personnel and Recruitment Management.
SDMS Ltd, a supplier of Staff Development and Personnel Systems to Local Government and the public sector, has extended the reach and availability of it's product range by joining the Citrix Systems, Inc., (Nasdaq: CTXS) iBusiness ISV Partner Programme.
It has launched SDMS Synopsis – an edition of its Staff Development, Personnel and Recruitment Software, specifically designed to take advantage of the server-based computing technologies from Citrix. Through membership in the Citrix iBusiness ISV Program, SDMS is licensing Citrix MetaFrameTM software for integration with SDMS Synopsis to provide server-based computing capability to customers.
SDMS supplies software to a wide range of private and public sector organisations, including some 35 Social Service Departments, 25 Local Education Authorities and Probation Services, as well as many other parts of the public and private sectors.

Citrix technology centralises application processing, administration and deployment on the server and provides access over the network to users located anywhere, on virtually any device or connection. Users view and work with the application interface, sending keystrokes and mouse clicks to the server, and receiving screen updates back. Citrix’s server-based model offers the key benefits of cost savings through centralised management and support, rapid application deployment to remote users, and the flexibility to leverage existing IT infrastructure.
A further incentive for joining the ISV Partner Programme is that it offers a broader range of application deployment alternatives to SDMS Customers, including over Wide Area Networks, Intranets and the Web. The Company is already delivering Bespoke Web Access Modules for all its products that will allow Customers to implement specific functionality, such as Online Training. With Citrix, SDMS Ltd has extended the reach of its applications to address the needs of Customers for Web Access and Deployment.

SDMS has developed a unique set of products for the Football Industry with Everton, which are now in use in some 35% of Premier League Clubs. Everton FC has major investments in computerising all aspects of the Club and deploys SDMS Software on Citrix MetaFrame as a key part of this IT strategy.
